Bob Solomon, President
Bob Solomon began his homebuilding career in Houston with a national homebuilder in 1978. In 1982 he led Gemcraft Homes into the Dallas Texas market and quickly catapulted the company into the largest builder in the Dallas Metroplex. Under his leadership, Bob assumed the operations for Nashville and Oklahoma City and continued to lead the company in Sales , Closings and initiatives for new product design. In 1990, Bob partnered with local Houston business men and purchased Gemcraft Homes. He assumed the role as President and Chief Operating Officer. The company operated in Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, San Antonio and Austin.
In 1996, he joined Ryland Homes in Austin as Division President. From 1996-2008 Bob managed Homebuilding operations in Austin, San Antonio and the Houston Division for Ryland Homes.
M Street Homes was founded in 2009. With over 30 years of homebuilding experience with National Homebuilders, Bob believed it was time to start a company that understood the "Personal Needs" of prospective buyers and not treat every home-buying transaction as a "Business".
Bob holds a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Florida.
Randy Erwin, VP of Sales and Marketing
Randy Erwin began his homebuilding career in 1983 in Dallas, Texas with Gemcraft Homes, as a construction supervisor. He was quickly recognized as a top performer and promoted to President of the Oklahoma City Operations, where he led the division to record performance. He served in that capacity until 1988.
In 1988, Randy started a new homebuilding company, Heartland Homes. He rapidly became one of the most successful builders in Oklahoma, and expanded into the Memphis, Tennessee market. Randy sold his company and in 2000 joined Ryland Homes. Randy served as Customer Service Manager, Director of Purchasing/Estimating, and Sales Manager in his tenure at Ryland Homes from 2000-2009.
Randy joined M Street Homes in March of 2010. He holds a degree from the Florida Institute of Technology and a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry from Principia College in Illinois.
Jeff Carnahan, VP of Product Design
Jeff holds a Bachelors of Science degree from Texas A & M in Environmental Design. During the past 22 years, Jeff has had extensive design experience in drafting working drawings for Highway Construction Projects and design of single family homes. Additionally, Jeff joined Ryland Homes in 1994 and his tenure included: draftsmen, project coordinator and Manager of Product Development. During his 14 years at Ryland Homes, Jeff was responsible for numerous successful designs throughout the Houston market, which continue to be offered and built throughout Texas.
Jeff joined M Street Homes in 2008 and is directly responsible for all product design.
Duc Le, VP of Construction and Estimating
Duc holds a Bachelors Degree in Building Science from the University of Auburn. After graduating in 2000, Duc joined Ryland Homes in their Management Training program. Duc assumed the role of Assistant Land Manager and in 2006 became the Land Manager for Standard Pacific Homes, a nationally recognized National Homebuilder.
In 2008, he started a homebuilding company in Austin, Texas, where he designed, and managed all facets of construction.
In 2010, he joined M Street Homes and currently is responsible for the management of construction, purchasing and estimating of all M Street Homes.
